When I began my journey, many of my conditions and diagnosis were not discussed in terms of successful outcomes. However, I made a firm commitment to fully invest in myself and back myself. What about trauma?
When I first learned about trauma and its connection to a deregulated nervous system, and health condiitons, I immersed myself completely—and I ended up exhausted. I was inadvertently re-traumatizing myself, which didn’t improve my well-being. In fact, I felt worse as I uncovered more traumas, and without having rebuilt the relationship with myself, leading to resentment towards my parents and a sense of brokenness. That’s why I do not focus on trauma work in my practice.
Most clients who come to me are weary of delving into past traumas. They are eager to feel better and resume their lives. Drawing from my own experience and seeing this pattern in my clients, I emphasize learning to emotionally and physically regulate yourself, reclaiming your confidence and personal power, and shedding limiting beliefs. As you strengthen yourself emotionally and physically, the emotional burdens of the past can naturally dissolve in their own time. I teach tools that support this process at your pace, so you can avoid exhausting or re-traumatizing yourself and start living now.
